I think I'll wait on more info first.

Something fishy definitely happened, but exactly what, I don't know. I'm not sure what the ripple effects will be, the recruiting details of how the program got into this QB situation in the first place, or what it means for the cohesiveness of the team--but with that said, I seriously doubt that the loss of Garrett himself will have any significant impact on the performance of the offense in future years. I just have a really hard time believing that he was ever any good, although I admit I don't know for sure.

As for Miles's role in all this, I'm just going to give him the benefit of the doubt until the details of the story become clearer.

I don't even know what the hell is going on.....i just woke up and saw this

But i did notice in the main thread that many of the people bashing the coaches were the same ones saying that CG will never see the field in a different thread about a week ago.

But i like how you come out the gates, firing off at the coaches....kudos.

I am not a Miles apologist by any means, but honestly if Zach Lee stays a Tiger then this situation isn't really that big of a deal, as long as we get a couple of arms in this Feb.

what do you know about Garrett to call this move COMPLETELY uncalled for? All you know is what you see on the surface.

FTR, I'm not apologizing for the man because the QB situation is in shambles.

But I can't COMPLETELY blame him. I don't know the whole story.

Unlike those who are willing to assume facts that haven't been demonstrated, or to make up facts, or to base conclusions or opinions on facts that simply aren't relevant to the situation, I prefer to withhold making judgments until I know what happened. I submit that anyone who is either fair or even minimally intelligent should do the same.

He would have had to sit the bench another 2 years and he's already a red shirt. Obviously he does not want competition with Z lee either. So the kid made the decision to get playing time somewhere else.

no excuses need to be made. as usual...you pussies are freaking out over stuff that happens all the time in college sports. the only mistake made was offering RP and thinking that he would hold up his end of the bargain. you pussies need to run down to marshalls...a new truckload of thongs just arrived.

Miles has shown he can't recruit a QB to LSU that is worth a shite. Either they have limited talent or Miles/Crowton can't develop them. Either way, the QB situation is ridiculous heading into Miles's 6th year on the job.

Here is the explanation:

Good quarterbacks are generally smart people. Smart people don't want to play for Les Miles. Therefore, it's hard for us to field a good QB.

Ryan P - was just as good, if not better than Flynn. RP was so good that Flynn had nothing to do with the wins that got us to Atlanta. RP was the supreme leader. We could have won it all with just Ryan P.
And it sure seems that their careers show that one too.

Dont be such a tool. CG didn't get asked back b/c he wasn't trying to compete.
