When Sun talks to Jin she is saying "Jin Soo Shi" not Shin Soo Shi. I've assumed that Soo Shi means something along the lines of "my love" or just a term of endearment.

there were discrepancies between the numbers and matching names in the caves and the wheel. Sorry for missing the 99 times you posted previously.
ETA, also, just because a candidate is scratched off doesn't mean he can't return to the island. Also, there are plenty of people on the islands that aren't a candidate.

I thought Mikhail pronounced it the same way in the last episode when he was translating.

It will be interesting to see what happens. I know a few posters have posted how the show will purportedly end (I don't know how those jackals would know since they are just now filming the last episode), but now it appears that Jin, the geophysicist, and Desmond will be looking for the pockets of electromagnetic energy and Jin seems like he will be the next Jacob or will bite the dust in the war. Many, including me, thought all along the next Jacob would likely be Jack. He has come of age but still makes mistakes in judgment. Secretly I am rooting for Hurley though.

I remember it being Wallace scratched off the wheel, so I misspoke that it was Desmond Hume for sure, but I don't know of any Wallace and Hume wasn't any other number on the list. It was an assumption on my part that it was actually Desmond and Wallace was either replaced at some point by Desmond or it was an alias. My bad. If I remember correctly, there was no one listed for 108 in the caves.

i think it will end with two guys on the beach (have no idea which characters- jack/sawyer, jack/sayid, jin/sawyer), one in black, one in white, looking out over the ocean.

Sayid won't be white/team Jacob, he's a zombie like character now claimed by MIB. I guess you are saying that he would become a later incarnation of MIB. But that is a very possible ending of course.
But what of MIB's old body from the last episode of season 5? What of his prior old body that he said Jacob stole from him? Is that Jacob's former body, or is it another body?
Most of the answers to this show are already out there, we're just now fitting the puzzle pieces together. Or trying to.

I've been noticing something and I'd like everyone to give their thoughts on this.
Flocke is constantly reaching out to touch people. I noticed he put his hand out to Sun. He offered his hand to Kate to help her up.
What's the significance of him physically touching them?

Btw, what are the theories on why Kate is no longer a candidate? It has looked like you need to die to get crossed off.
