Ok, let me expand:

Basketball: Ankle-breaking crossover followed by a three
Hockey: Full-stretch glove save
Baseball: Strikeout on a preposterously slow curve
Football: When a RB jukes out a safety when he's the only guy when he's the only guy between the RB and the endzone

Football: Hook & ladder
Baseball: runner just beats out the throw to first. (Because it feels like we got away with one)
Basketball: Three pointer that nails the back of the rim and the crowd goes BOOM!
Hockey: I like watching the team skate around and set up at one end of the ice and move down toward the goal. Something you can't usually see on TV.

Perfect drag bunt for a base hit. Kenny Loften use to do it perfect from the left side.

Also a outfielder going over the wall on the run to rob a home run.

In football I love when a fumble gets recovered by a fatass lineman. Watching him run it looks like he is in quicksand.

A nasty knuckle ball that makes great hitters just look silly.

Good thread!

FOOTBALL: The back breaking long play - either a kick return of 90+ yards, on a play that usually lasts 10+ seconds, right after the other team thinks they have momentum, OR, the long interception return right when the opponent is about to score, especially the 100+ return version on a 15 second play (the pic and return in the Super Bowl qualifies too).

BASEBALL: the line drive into the right field corner with the bases juiced and a close play at third or home - best 11 seconds in baseball.

BASKETBALL: Larry Bird on a buzzer beater from thr corner, over the backboard, to win. The best thing is that it won't happen again....ever.

GOLF: A hole in one on a par 3 or 4 OR a double-eagle on a par 5. Or when 50 people are watching some dude on the first tee, who has $2K worth of equipment and $500 in gear on, and he rolls it 30' and tells everyone it it the worst tee-shot of his life. Then the dude with 1970's macgregor persimmons, wearing sneakers, pokes it 250 down the middle.

CURLING: When you sweep real hard and curl your thing around the opponents thing, knocking his other thing out of the blue circle, allowing you to win the inning 1-0.

Sorry for the length...this fired up the old fart.
