This has to be the best line!

"And the Big East, while 4-2, lost an awful lot of credibility when Florida treated Cincinnati like a four-dollar hooker."

LSU has a first down at the Penn State 49 with about 49 seconds left, trailing 19-17 with no timeouts. The clock is stopped because Richard Jefferson has just run out of bounds

My God. If things are not bad enough. It seems like everyday something else is coming out making Miles look dumber than the day before. I already don't have any hope he can correct this and will be fired sooner rather than later and now all of this negative national exposure makes me think next season could be worse than we have seen in quite some time. Not good for the program. Not good at all.

lsumike, i too am a gtown boy and i see it as you do. he is a good person, but his coaching rep is getting gutted.

i think his time has passed at LSU. Its time to find a new dynamic coach.

Even the first 3?

Because that would be pretty amazing to do what he did those first three years with all those problems.

GA we had played 11 weeks in a row and the team was tired.

him and Bertman flew the day before the SECCG to lobby for another bowl, so AFTER they lost, they could be that one..

that really inspires the players...

One thing to remember......LSU has historically held on to coaches longer than their performance warrants. That being said, I think (regardless of record) Miles will be here for 2 more years. By that time, we will no longer be on the map. Similar situation with Miami and Larry Coker.

Sad, but true.

Apparently you missed the last drive before halftime of the 2005 UT game. You know, the one where LSU was at about UT's 20 yd line but let the clock run out without a field goal oppurtunity (those 3 points win the game). There was mass confusion as Jamarcus and the team tried to line up for a spike while Les sent out the field goal unit and LSU had about 20 players on the field as time expired.

ETA: Les also tried to call a timeout after a turnover during the last minute of regulation. Sounds like clock management issues to me.

So it appears the clock management problem has been a big issue this year, but not before
Wrong, we saw it in Les' FIRST GAME IN TIGER STADIUM.

I for one think the game would have been much different on a dry field,I believe we beat them 2 out of three times on a dry field,Then again we were only one game better than last year with J.J. Starting so the question becomes is he just one game better than Jarret Lee? and our defense was better this year to boot. We only gave up one T.D. against the Mighty Penn State,if we come up with just one of the potential 7 turnovers they tried to give us we come out on top IMO. As bad as we played we were still one catch,or one Penn turnover from winning.
