That stat speaks for it self. The more I hear and see, this guy seems like Shyrone Carey reincarnated. Which I think is great for LSU.

Well, I'm not sure what use LSU is going to have with a small back that doesn't even run a sub 4.5 forty but I'll take another 4 star on the board.
he runs the fasteset 4.6 forty i've ever seen.
4.6 is fast enough for a RB, vision and quickness matter more than straightline speed at that position. this little guy has both + receiving skills. reminds me of oregon state RB quiz rodgers or a t. holliday with better field vision

Who currently in College Football does he resemble? Jaquiz Rogers from Oregon St, Noel Devine from WV. Just curious.

Gore's measurables will not blow anybody away but the guy can just flat out play .
Good pickup, imo. He's very quick and very versatile.

he may turn out to be a better back than LS, not spinning and I have not seen LS, but just listening to his games it seems he is a tad overated.
+1 on the Dade county thing

Miami did offer him on the first day juniors could be offered 2 Septembers ago, and he had his offer for at least 10 months and then they pulled it after they got a couple of RB commits.
Per multiple Miami posters on the Rivals MB.

never be an every down back at LSU, but at worst he's a slot/return guy. Can be just as valuable w/ a creative and competent OC.

He looks like he'll make a hell of a 3rd down back if nothing else.
I don't think he's a guy that can make his hay between the tackles, but if you pair him with a guy to do the dirty work inside and let him use his skills in space he can be a playmaker.

I agree. And like someone else mentioned, it will be nice to have an actual change of pace back that instead of trying to pretend Trindon Holliday was one...

thank God. our backfield is set.

God... you people dont watch much football do you?
What other miami rb do we know with the last name Gore?
Could it be 49er's starting RB Frank Gore?
Which is another reason I like this pickup. Got to be more siblings/cousins in that family that can play football. It would be good to be able to grab dudes from Miami. D bowe comes to mind also.

I know there is room for error, but come on. That is pretty bad.
blue is ranked ahead of him on scout. I know, i know, rankings don't matter. But it still gives you a general feeling of a back.
The answer is related to the fact that as many three stars end up in the NFL as 4 stars. Only 20% of the five stars make it in the NFL.
Its selection evaluation and training. All three.
Let's see what Frank Wilson can teach him.
