So how do we find out if he was actually in the booth?
I've never been in the media other than with the Reveille in college, but I'm sure Sports2 or Dubois can figure out how to find out for sure.
I'm still amazed we do not know where Gerald Hodges is from. I thought the media would be all over that.

Chicken -- why don't you use your contacts to help us find out?

He definetely was in the booth........I heard it on Finebaum when he had Gary Danielson on!
He was also in the booth for this game which makes it even more of a conspiracy.
Check this link out. LINK

Here is what Mullen had to say about it on his teleconference:
"I don't know why we even have replay right now in the Southeastern Conference if they are not going to utilize it. ... I think that's unexcusable for that official. I mean, I hope he is severely punished, if (he) ever works another SEC game again, because I think it is completely unacceptable. I can understand making a bad call in a live speed on a game like the offsides call. There's no excuse for a guy that has the amount of time to replay the video to make sure they get the call right. That's why we do instant replay. And I think it's embarrassing that they blew that call. I've seen the still shots with the ball out of his hand. So I don't think that's acceptable on a guy that is not watching it in live speed, has the ability to watch all the different angles."
Dan Dembinski was listed as the replay official in the game, with Dick Burleson as the replay booth communicator.

Unfortunately, I believe it is true ... Now the question is... How does the SEC defend allowing this to happen.

So as far as I can tell, there has been several sources that confirm he was in the booth and supervised this game. STICKY again chicken!

I heard Finebaum say he was in the booth as well. Don't remember which hour it was . Somebody that is bored can listen to Finebaum's archives from Monday and Tuesday's shows to find out when he said it.

The shite is starting to hit the fan little by little. It would be huge if something really is uncovered in all of this.

Just found where Finebaum said Burleson was in the replay booth. In the last half of the 1st hour on 11/9. Actually when he was talking to Charles.
Yeah Lester, it would be just fine if someone living in Baton Rouge was the replay supervisor.

What do you mean "unfortunately"?
I would be more at peace knowing there was a conspiracy or unfair bias in the booth than knowing that SEC officials just REALLY ARE that incompetent.
At least if it's a conspiracy, I know for a FACT that our boys were ROBBED ON PURPOSE!

OP has been updated, crediting Finebaum with confirmation of Burleson in the booth.

It would be very interesting if there is a relationship between his engineering firm and UA contractors.

Might be a good time to bring out that 'careful what you say about players' cautionary statement and insert refs. This could get ugly....but definitely interesting. Wonder how many lurkers are lawyers....

In Burleson's defense, I don't think we have any way of knowing that he is an Alabama fan or not.... the only thing we know is he has an overwhelming number of ties to the state of Alabama and the University of Alabama.
