I will be in Dubai on October 5th thru 11th & if I am not mistaking that is the weekend of the Florida game, anyone know of places in Dubai to watch the game. Some one may have posted a place already but I didn't want to read all posts. Thanks

For United Arab Emirates, either my house or a friend with Exxon Mobil has the LSU games always if we are in Abu Dhabi at game time. I usually cook gumbo or Jambalaya, or we Bar-B-Q, fully stocked bars at both places. I could provide an email for anyone wanting to see the games when there in UAE and eat some good food, same food you would eat at a tailgate outside Tiger Stadium.

Apologies if it's already been asked, but where's the better place to watch in Austin, Shoal Creek or Lavaca?

Anyone in New Mexico, I'll try that before specific location Also, I'm trying to make sure I understand the watchESPN deal. The game will be blacked out on ESPN3 unless you subscribe to one of those 5 or 6 cable choices that come up when you click the game?

Lavaca - 100% better place to watch the game. And change of plans for me - anyone know where to watch the game in Kolkata, India?

I agree with Lavaca in Austin. Better atmosphere and setup.

Definitely better atmosphere at Lavaca - I remember watching the '07 NC at Shoal Creek and half the TVs were digital and the other half weren't so we could hear yells from inside before we could actually see the play happening outside... it sucked. I do go to Shoal Creek for Saints games though - you can also check out Reds Porch on S. Lamar if you're that direction - it's owned by a coonass so he plays all the LSU/Saints games. Btw, Dubaitiger - do you go by the nickname "Regret" to Doug? Lol, I went by and met him the other day in Bangkok when I thought I was going to be there for the game - great guy.

I know Legend's is a great spot to watch LSU games, but they get really fricking packed for games even if you get there early. As an alternate NYC spot, I'd suggest Bourbon Street Bar & Grill on 46th St. They are very pro-LSU and show at the least all the nationally televised ones. They also have good food.

Hey Carbola, I do not work for Schlumberger. Going there as part of a site visit team at the unversity. Checking out some of their medical programs. My first time there so would be nice to meet up with some Tiger fans to watch the game. But then again with the time difference I may be working. Geaux Tigers!!!

3rd row, Damm, Doug is now calling me that. Our good friend John B calls me that and now it rubbed off on Doug. Let me know when you will be back. I live in Abu Dhabi and spend a couple of months in Bangkok 4-5 trips per year. Was going through Bangkok around Oct 8th for a week to golf and make a little business, then Bali Classic Golf Tournament, but will just get tired from all activity. Will transit through KL on Oct 15th and go right to Bali instead and spend 4 days in KL upon return to UAE. Will be in Bkk late November Game time tonight 3am in Abu Dhabi at my house or my friend's house. Got the Jambalaya mix cooking down now

I'll let you know if I go back but I doubt I will any time soon. On one of those trips around the world thing... done Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia and Laos so far (and now in India.) For some reason I screwed up my departure date time in my head. I'll be asking from some weird places so in advance if anyone knows where to watch it in Nepal, China, Monglia or Russia let me know. (I'm sure there's an LSU Alumni Monglia Association, right? )
