I think I'm going to start watching games at Woodrows this year. Is this the best place in Houston? Lots of LSU fans? Under 21 allowed? TIA.

Recently I've noticed them checking everyone's ID at all times. But I would imagine you're ok if it's early or during a football game. If they dont check IDs at the door, they will check them at the table so don't even try.

Show up early if you like sitting down. It's usually full 2 hours before kickoff.

The DFW LSU Alumni will have jumbo trona set up at the official tailgate party. Those not attending the game may still come tailgate & pass a good time watching the game on the jumbo trona and stay for the after party when the shuttles return.

I've posted all exact details in a separate thread but the location is J Gilligans on Abrams... Right down the street from the stadium. Shuttles will run continuously starting at 10:30 am so tailgaters can go to stadium for Gameday, then return for partying & game watch.

Not sure about The Moosehead, but last year I asked The Great Canadian if they'd stay open for me to watch an LSU game that started at 2 AM Paris time and they told me that if I brought enough people with me that they'd stay open. Not sure if you'll have a group with you, but if you can make it worth their while to stay open I think they will.

We had a discussion about that yesterday at the SEC Picnic. It's still Brooklyn's at Invesco, or whatever the Bronco's stadium is called now.

If your in the French Settlement, Maurepas area come to Spankys on Hwy 22. Same shopping center as Island Hop. 4 Big Screen HD TV's, Food, Drinks, Best Daiquiris in the state, Friendly atmosphere, and I think we are cooking a duck roast for the Oregon game. Should be a lot of fun!

This message is for any LSU tigers living in the South Bay area in California (South of SF). Many of us can't make it upto SF for the games. If you are interested in getting together to watch the game in the San Jose area then shoot me an email. We can try and persuade a local bar to give us an exclusive screen.
