Going to lunch in Laffy...need a decent place to hit up that isn't Deano's or Judice Inn (something a tad nicer please, but not fancy).

If you want a Plate Lunch go to Laura's II on University. If you want a great burger go to Morvant's in Youngsville.

Lafayette's has become an overrated buffet. It seems every time you turn around its a buffet. Not bad, just not worth 20 bucks for a limited buffet.

yep, just the menu selection is not the ever present crawfish dinner, shrimp dinner and seafood platter. It has some different things on it. Fire roasted oysters are great... I have been like 5-8 times and never had a bad experience. Haven't been in about 8 mths though. I would look them up on the net....

uugghhh.... i think medium range. With drinks, appetizers and entrees for 2 people would be b/w 60-90. depending on the amt of drinks and what they are. I think there is Catahoula's on Pinhook also. They replaced Doe's Eat Place and are pretty good also. They are a little more pricey though...

It closed down. DOE's moved into a Double-Wide in Broussard.

Phares is very good. For some reason I seem to keep getting the filet mignon whenver we go. It's excellent, and so are the Phares onion rings.
