I have never spread any rumors. I have only mentioned Gadsden once or twice and that was only in response to some bullshite rumors that one of your fellow gumps (Partsman 103) was spreading about Auburn


I have mentioned that gumps have been cheating since the beginning of time, but anybody can figure that shite out. Hell even one of the gumps own alumnus named William Bradford Huie wrote an article in Colliers Magazine back in 1941 claiming they were paying players and committing academic fraud as far back as the 1920's, 1930's, and 1940s.


Bear Bryant was a drunk, womanizer, put dozens or hundreds of football players on golf and tennis scholarships in order to gain an advantage over the competition, and was best firends with notorius cheaters like Logan Young. When he was still alive, Logan Young was even quoted as saying Bear Bryant was like a second father to him.


Despite all of those things, gumps actaully expect other people to believe that Bear Bryant was too honest and had too much integrity to pay players . Of course gumps are the only people who are naive and dumb enough to believe Bear Bryant was too honest and had too much integrity not to pay players.


The gumps pay-for-play scheme was finally exposed for the whole world to see when they were put on probation in the Albert Means case and Logan Young was convicted in federal court and sentenced to 6 months in prison for his role in that case. Anybody with a brain can figure out Logan Young had been paying gump players every since Bear Bryant's drunk arse was roaming the sidelines in Tuscaloser
