Not sure about the regional, but in the Supers and Game1 of the CWS expect to see Coleman in game1.

Probably Ross in game one, but Bradshaw's performance may give Mainieri something to think about. Bradshaw can beat Southern.

Ranaudo in game two. Coleman in championship or loser's bracket game.

why would the super rotation be any different than a weekend series rotation?

Ross can beat Southern, so I would go from there. Maineri could bump Coleman up to the Saturday winner's bracket game.

In the Super's I could see him going with Ranuado or Coleman in game 1. Why would he change what has been so good all year? But I could understand throwing Coleman first.

In Omaha, I would start Ranaudo. The games are two days apart. Just like when he closed Coleman against UGA on Friday and started him on Sunday, he could do that in Omaha. Coleman has experience out of the pen, and Ranaudo doesn't. If they win game 1, then you have Coleman to start game 2.

pitching ross would set the tone for the team that Coach PM just doesnt care about this tournament.

Ross against Southern
Coleman against Minnesota if they win
Ranaudo against Baylor if they win

Huh? We're playing Southern in game 1, not Vanderbilt.

Disagree. Coleman is our best pitcher. You give your best pitcher the most possible innings pitched in Omaha, and the way to do that is to pitch him in Game1.

Ranaudo is great, but Coleman is our go-to guy.

I do see your reasoning as per allowing Coleman to come in and close Game1 and turn around and start Game 2, but with the emergence of Matty Ott over the course of the year, I think we're good to close out a game if need be.

It's a meaningless tourney. He started our 4th starter in last year's regional.

I wonder if PM doesn't pitch Coleman first if we make it to the CWS. Saturday in a weekend/Super regional series is just as important as Friday. But because you want to stay in the winners bracket, the first game in the CWS is very important. It is especially important to have your best pitcher out there when you consider who Ole Miss or UCI could throw against us.

Ross will be on a short leash.

I don't think there's any question that Coleman will pitch Game1 in Omaha when we make it.

The only question in our rotation right now is

1. Who will pitch game1 of the regional? (although it's probably going to be Ross)

2. Will we switch Ranaudo and Coleman for Game 1 and 2 of the supers?
