1986 Rebel, November 22, 1986. I got married that day and got two tickets to the LSU-ND game for a wedding present. Mrs 79 and I left the reception, changed and drove straight to Tiger Stadium.
Happened in the South End zone, I Was in that end zone!

I've got two candidates
1) 1972-Bert Jones to Brad Davis w/ one second left to beat ole miss--billboards in MS were erected afterward stating you are now entering LA-please turn your clock back one second
2) 1971 or 72 Bert Jones to Andy Mamilton all alone in the moonlight of the N endzone after hamilton had faked clarence brown out of his jockstrap Also that night LSU stopped Notre Dame on three fourth and goal runs within their own five. Warren Capone had two int.s to seal the deal. Small bit of trivia Dinardo was an OG for ND during that game,

Jonathon Zenon's pick 6 in the '07 SEC Campionship Game desirves consideration.

Mauck to Skyler Green.
No win over GA, no title in 2003.

i was listening to it on the radio when it happened, and it was clearly hunt that caught the ball.
That was classic Jim Hawthorne for sure.
I'd vote the Morris moment #1
followed closely by:
#2-Skyler Green catch >Ga
#3-D.B. catch >Au
#4-Cresse game-winning hit >Stanford winning CWS
#5-Cannon punt return
#6-Anthony Wilson shot >Memphis
#7-Maravich 69 point >KY (His hole career really)
#8-Hester t.d. > FL
#9-Laxton's 17 s/o shutout Clinching '93 CWS
#10-Hodson to Fuller >Au. won SEC title 1988
#11- Bluegrass miracle
#12-Jones to Davis > Ole Miss
Hell, I better stop. Been lots of great ones.

Honorable Mention:

Marcus Spears Int. Ret. for TD vs. Oklahoma in '03
5 4th Down conversions vs. Florida in '07
D. Byrd TD vs. Auburn in '07
Bert Jones last second TD vs. Ole Miss

Morris and its not even close.

I vote for Morris.
There are so many factual errors by posters (not counting the Jack Hunt joke) that I won't even begin to correct them all.

Another memorable one... post-Katrina, 4th quarter, 4th down, Russell to Doucet at Az St.

I'd like to note that the Marcus Spears PicK 6 in the BCS Championship game had more impact than anything else.
