Top plays happen in TOP games. The Morris HR was huge because it won a World Series. I loved it and will always remember the shock of it as being the best part....

BUT, winning the first National Championship in decades was the best thing I've seen and Spears INT was the biggest play that achieved that IMO.

That felt really good.

Warren Morris because he is the only person to do this in the college ranks.

I asked earlier:

Does WM go through a single day w/out being asked about this HR?

This gets HEAVY consideration.

Although I tend to like Chevis Jackson's punch-out of the ball to Robiskie in the endzone during the 07 NC game.

Robiskie had that catch - and it's a WHOLE different ballgame if'n he makes it.

Old school. Cannon, Jones, Casanova, Y.A., plenty of others.
New school Morris, Spears, Henderson, and do your remember the put back against then No. 1 Geo.town basketball team. Was it Chris Jacksons miss?

I say it was Jordan Jefferson's TD pass to Rueben Randle to beat USC on the last play of the 2010 BCS MNC game to take the 2009 NC...

#2 Georgetown wasn't it? #1 Illinois had already lost that week so they could have moved to #1. Jackson missed the three pointer and Blanton banked the rebound.

In the Dome.

1) Warren Morris two out dinger to win CWS and first ballot entrance into Vallhala.

2) Brad Cresse bottom nine single to beat Stanford and win CWS on my wedding day with 50 of my best friends and family in the Honeymoon Suite overlooking Wrightsville Beach, NC.

3) Hodson to Fuller...redemption all wrapped up in an earthquake.

4) Flynn to Byrd...maybe the greatest catch in LSU football history and along with the Florida game propelled LSU to the natcham game.

5) Bluegrass Miracle...absolutely, positively, without a doubt the most mind boggling (esp. for ku fans) turn of events for LSU football.

jmfho.

Pistol Pete Maravich's basket against Ole Miss which made him the career scoring leader in NCAA history.

Game winning plays are cherished by the winning school's fan base, but a record for the ages speaks to the whole basketball world.

Billy Cannon's run..yielded a Nat Championship

Warren Morris homerun...9th inning World Series

Bluegrass Miracle....for me, only for one reason
their coached had already been soaked in Gatorade

Wasn't the run in 59?

This is number 1. Bottom of the ninth, two outs, one man on base, championship game, come on...

Don't forget their fans rushed the field too.
