It's just an unverified rumor that is probably untrue or totally misrepresented.
Anytime you start hearing "X school is willing to pay $X" or "X player wants $X to visit", take that with a grain of salt. Not exactly breaking news, but anyone can make up anything they want on the internet and people will run with it as gospel.
