What are y'alls favorite 22lr pistols? Already have a savage mkII bolt but wanting something lighter and more packable for rabbits snakes etc. Going to be plinking a lot with it as well. Plan on grabbing a red dot and can for it and have been eyeing the Mark IV from Ruger but haven't had a chance to put my hands on one

I have a Browning Buckmark with a tactical solutions light weight barrel on it and its pretty great.
2 others that I have are the S&W Compact .22 and the Sig P322.
Of those, the S&W gets the nod from me. The Sig has not been reliable for me. Too many times a round will get nose down in the magazine and won't feed. Happens 2-5 times per magazine for me. Also the slide lock back, pretty well sucks. I really need to call the company and see if they have anything to say about it.
The S&W is accurate and very reliable. Hardly ever has any issues.
Would like to try out the Taurus TX22 and the FN 502.

good to know about the sig, have heard a few similar stories as well. I really wanted to like the 502 and have seen good reviews, but it just felt too cheap and plastic for me. TX22 keeps showing up, may have to look into it

Ruger mark IV 22/45 with a Q el camino.
By far favorite thing to shoot.
However, It has trouble ejecting sub ammo. Ejects regular 22LR ammo just fine.

FN 502.
The local guy has one of these, I might go get it.
Of course he's expensive, but he's only like $20 high on this one for some reason.

Sig 322 is fun suppressed. No issues with mine.

Have enjoyed my TX22. The extra capacity over most other 22lr pistols is an added bonus.

That with a Bowers Icon would be awesome.

I may look at trading my P322 for the FN 502.
The sig is crazy accurate, just not reliable at all...

Heritage rough rider. Can't hit shite with it but it has fired more rounds than any gun I own.

I've shot pretty much all of them. Two best with a suppressor are
Ruger MkIV 22/45 Lite (I got the 43927 SKU and tricked it out with Volquartsen parts)
&
Walther PPQ 22. Feels like a midsize 9mm so really good for training.

Another vote for the Ruger MKIV 22/45 Lite. I have one with a silencerco spectre II that is awesome. I've never had any feed issues with Subs or supers.

Have both of these, love them both. I give the Sig the advantage for ergos, the milled slide for an optic, and the 25 round mags. I have a Holosun on mine and it’s tons of fun for plinking.

I have a Ruger MK IV with a Tac Solutions PAC-LITE upper on it. It’s my favorite.
