This post is intended for discussion only since there has been so much talk about suing the LA Times and Washington Post for inflammatory articles.

The best way to deal with this is ignore it. Don’t click. Don’t listen. Views go down and then they know a problem has happened.

Another poster on TD said that this “just ignore it” attitude is why we are in this place. I agree, you have to fight back. Sue the bastards, cuz that is the only thing that will stop it.

Go away. The LSU girls basketball players were directly attacked by LAT and its writer. The girls are a separate entity from KM.

The basketball players were degraded as pornography. The damage is done. The players only should seek legal redress for a detriment to their reputations.

The Stephen A Smith statements have no bearing on the current possible cause of action.

Additionally: During discovery, if it is shown that the UCLA coach was acting in concert with the LAT’s writer, the lawsuit could be broadened.

That’s the definitive answer. They need to be called out everyday on this. I swear, the clips I see from msnbc, cnn are outright racist against whites. Never ignore it.

Going after a coach is one thing. Attacking a women’s team the way he did is uncalled for

Lawsuit for what? Mulkey said if anything false is said about her, she would sue for defamation. Alot of yall apparently took that to mean if anyone says a negative thing about her, that they’ll sue. Comprehension here is astoundingly low

SAS is such a troll that plays up his street image.

He was on with Clay Travis last year and said hes more independent to right than left. Said hes anti woke yet plays it up to his base

Nothing that Steven A Smith said was factually incorrect. Nothing he said caused Mulkey or LSU any damages.

It's as if some of you have no idea how lawsuits work and yet you are intent on showing your ignorance.

F@ck Stephen A. Smith! He is nothing but a POS reporter with a big mouth. It is not her obligation to answer his questions. But it is her right to sue him if he lies and slanders her or the University's name. If he writes the story, he better have proof. The writer is a POS because he comes out with it right before the 1st game. He was trying to distract the team. Didn't work a-hole. Geaux Lady Tigers. One step away from Final 4. Take down the Queen Clark and let's put another banner up.

It’s true that SAS was attacking CKM and not the players. And CKM admitted that she is fair game as a coach on a national level. I do believe SAS added fuel to the fire created by the Washington Post that was unwarranted. With that said I think CKM calling out the article before it was published gave them time to rethink the content and diluted it in order to avoid legal action. So CKM defused it by her preemptive threats to sue. Whether SAS is legally implicated is probably a stretch but his jabs at our coach only inflamed the situation. A retraction is not his style since his well documented arrogance and ignorance of all the facts seem to appealto his low IQ fan base

Stephen A Smith should be ignored at all costs. That guy makes way too much money to do what he does. In his opinion, all of it was Mulkey's fault. frick that dude.
