What are the hardest professions for interviews? And easiest?

Easiest is doctors by far. They ask nothing technical and just take your certifications as word.
Hardest imo is software Eng. Have to remember so many algorithms and code it live.

I interviewed with a big investment bank once for a position I wasn't qualified for. It was mainly for interview experience, which I think is very valuable.
Anyways, it took 8 hours with 6 panels of 2-3 investment bankers. They would throw out investment scenarios and case studies and get me to read and react on the spot. Then they'd ask tough follow up questions. These people were all very experienced and have academic pedigree well-above my own.
My pits sweated through my undershirt, dress shirt, and suit jacket. Most mentally draining and difficult interview imaginable in an office setting.
ETA:
I did NOT get the job, but they liked the interview and asked me to come in again for another position a year later (and interview again) and I said no thank you. I had just switched companies and was not going through that again anyway

Surprisingly the big Four accounting figs are really difficult considering that everyone pretty much starts off not knowing an absolute fricking thing about Tax and Audit outside of like 3 or 4 random arse classes.

Wouldn't say it's the hardest (it's been the hardest for me though), but I was once interviewing for a software trainer position and was given a list of 15 different topics, I had to choose one of the topics and give a 5 minute speech on it. I was given 15 minutes to prepare. I guess they just wanted to know how good of a bullshitter I was. I got the job

This is true only after you’re a doctor. If they give you an interview, they’re going to offer. The interview is basically a recruitment.
But med school and residency interviews are fricking rough.

Investment banking can be somewhat chill or very painful depending on the interviewers.
Two biggest variables are do they like your pedigree and how their day is going

Software Eng. can be either the toughest job interview ever or if you donwgrade to a "IT guy" position in a small company it can be the easiest day in your life, ussualy people from these companies do not have the slightest idea of what you are talking about
