Also, in the section that i sit in only about 1 out of every 10 people constantly cheer loud, scream or yell. that has always dissapointed me.

Yeah same thing happens in my section as well. LSU fans suck in my section as well, they are garbage! They just sit there on their hands and watch.

I went to the LSU/UF game in 04. Addai caught a screen pass and ran it in for the winning score (24-21) if I recall correctly--anyway, it wasnt nearly as loud as Tiger Stadium for a big game. It was a huge letdown since I thought it would be as deafening as what I was used to in Baton Rouge, but it just didnt have the kick.

I got the same experience when I went to Ben Hill back in 2002 when LSU spanked that tail.

The best uproar i heard in TS was when we played UF last year and when we were down and losing momentum they announced USC 21 STANFORD 24 and the crowd went nuts and thats wat i think give us life to win the game

That was from people jumping up and down, literally moving the earth - not from noise.

i know what it was from... have you heard the noise it makes when you jump up and down on the bleachers?? i think that's pretty loud.

There were big moments throughout that I expected them to just get crazy and they didnt. Obviously they wont make a peep after losing the game...

Then right after that we gave up a long pass play to a wide open receiver for a TD. We were then down 24-14.

That didn't help us at all.

Blocked FG against Bama. I cant even begin to describe how much I yelled/jumped around/high fived!!!! It would have been the best game I had ever seen if we would have pulled it out in OT. Wow, great memory though!!!

Jason, you sure you don't mean Autzen stadium where Oregon plays? I've never heard a thing about Washington.

Blocked FG against Bama was the loudest roar I've ever heard. I doubt anywhere else would top that.

last year at the virginia tech game, the first half was extremely loud and i sat next to a couple of young va tech students. they kept asking me when it would die down and i kept telling them around 11 oclock that night. well we are walking out i asked them how the experience was and they told me they had been to several ACC and Big East away games with virginia tech and they had never seen anything like this. never have they seen a crowd go crazy over a false start penalty in the 3rd quarter with their team up 38-7. they said if we ever played them again here they were gonna bring alot of people with them. it was the most fun they had ever had at a tailgate. it was the first time they had ever seen an 8 man funnel and they have never eaten jambalaya. i just told em welcome to da boot!!

Loud is over-rated. It's all about the sustain.

I've heard Penn State can get pretty damn loud. Although I've never been there and it came from an East Coast journalist.
