My friend and I got in a heated debate over which NCAA stadium is the loudest? Of course i have not visited all of the stadiums, but i believe that LSU's Tiger Stadium is the loudest. The only other loud stadium that i have attended was Auburn this year, and well that was loud and fun. Their stadium to me wasn't as powerfull as Tiger Stadium.

What yall think????

Not this year. But it's been one of the loudest if not the loudest in years past.

I can say that both Florida and Auburn were as loud as frick this season.

I really cant say cause i havent visited all and i think for someone to say would have to be at like a LSU-UF type of game with the hype and rivalry. I hear UF is loud and prolly O State is a pretty loud stadium

That was from people jumping up and down, literally moving the earth - not from noise.

When i was at auburn this year it seemed to be constantly loud IMO. but the thing is that i was an opposing fan of course and we scream at diff time during the game.

When at TS, i am always yelling and never pay attention to the noise.

The Washington Huskies stadium can get very loud. They have clocked out at a 130 decibles + in the past when they were good. When the Huskies are good their stadium can rock and thats not bad considering it only holds 72,500.

Not even close if based upon consistency by game's duration or if day games are factored.

Ben Hill Griffin, has LSU clobbered if based upon decibel by day game, and constant noise, if a bigtime game or close game.

Also Aubies, Bama, and Tenn are solid by day.

Fla and Tenn, benefit also from the trapped accoustics of their stadium's setup. BHG has a ton of cinderblock wall in there and is close to the field = canned noise.

Pound-for-pound by stadium capacity, VT, Oregon, Wash, Clem, OU, etc..must be considered.

LSU is overrated unless it's a night game or tight game between heated SEC rivals by day.

LSU is up there, it is the loudest stadium I have ever been to. Florida is one of the loudest in the land as well. I went to a few Texas vs Texas A&M games many years ago when it was played on Thanksgiving night (before they got rid of it and brought it back this year) and Aggie Land at night can be a very loud place as well. Bryant Denny got very loud when I went to the LSU game there last year. Auburn can also be very loud as well. Texas is overrated. Tenn can be very imposing and deafening at times but it's been very quiet in recent years.

i think it depends were you sit as well. i moved around to about 6 different locations and the seats closer to the field are extremely loud. i was on row 14 for the UGA game and it was louder than when i was in the upper part student section of the bama game even though bama was prob twice as loud than the UGA game. the volume on field level must be unbearable at times.

Also, in the section that i sit in only about 1 out of every 10 people constantly cheer loud, scream or yell. that has always dissapointed me.
