CNBC Warren Buffett

What an excellent, clear, concise takedown!

I'm convinced.

Always looked at crypto like gambling...

More power to those who play and win!

I was never a gambling man...

edit: I realize my username and my above statement does not check out. Thanks

I love the idea of crypto because the government hates it and can't track your purchases to tell you that you are too many carbs that day etc. But honestly I don't see how it's not just a ponzi scheme

Also, his gripe ultimately comes down to people who shouldn’t be buying securities have easy access to buy bitcoin without knowing anything about what they are doing.

Lots of success stories but those are the only ones you’ll see in the news. They won’t talk about the folks putting their paycheck into this each week hoping for the best.

I personally think it will collapse at some point, and probably spectacularly. And I’m also willing to accept that I was wrong and missed out if it doesn’t. But I’m all for others making the money while they can.

You’d think he’d like Bitcoin since you can buy children with it

Why? Because it’s outperformed Berkshire, by a wide margin, since inception and he’s missed on it year-in, and year-out? Sour grapes old man babbling.

Because he and every other big fish doesn’t want the average person to make money in bitcoin. It doesn’t help him.

Guys at his level control the markets and can swing it how ever they want as a group.

The level of money is never gonna be ok with people being able to retire early off bitcoin

I know the the first person I run to to get opinions on new technology is a 93 year old.

I like Buffet, but it's hard for me to imagine he can truly understand today's and tomorrow's technology.

He's more worried about pumping businesses like Coca-Cola. Diabetes, obesity, plastic pollution, corn syrup from subsidized farms that go heavy on the glyphosate, etc. You know, good business.
