It will be interesting with Perry. I doubt he has a huge impact his first year. If that happens, I could see it being tough holding on to him through next years transfer portal.

That's life. If Perry can't wait 1 year before being a HUGE contributor in this offense then he was never a realist anyway. Every evaluation of him says he's a 5* talent in need of development in terms of the receiver position. Spend this year studying the play book working on routes and becoming a beast. Hell, there's NO way he doesn't catch passes THIS year. He's unspeakablely talented. If we pass for 2800 which was Bo Wallace's number then he'll have 350-400 of that with 3-5 TDs man. That's excellent for a true freshman. If he still leaves then Oh well, go get Caleb Cunningham and keep it moving.

Just looked up the top 5 receivers from 2023. All 5* guys. Not one of them has more than 400 yards receiving as True freshman. That's how rare it is. AJ Green, Julio, and those boys are generational dudes. Even AJ Brown and Dk Metcalf did Very little as true freshman. Perry has got to understand

I think he will have a large impact. I know someone posted some of the other very good players in the past who did not have fruitful first years, but there was a reason. DeVonte was playing behind three future NFL receivers when he was a freshman......we dont have that problem.
He is one big bodied, physical fast specimen. Hell they had him knocking heads on defense in high school. You throw it his way....there are no 50/50 balls
