Would this make it illegal for politicians to invest money in the stock market? Its insider trading, illegal for us but ok for them...
They go to Washington worth $500,000 and in 6 years are worth $32,000,000.

SDV, or any of the other sycophants would have changed their tune regarding DeSantis?

He also supports blocking congress from trading while in office.

So do we. DeSantis isn’t revolutionary. He also has zero chance at changing that.

for real... but whats the likely hood of getting this done?
Not likely anytime soon, but someone needs to take the initiative and build. The border issue can provide a spark.

He should run for Congress then. He has zero chance doing anything fed as governor

1. Yes, 3 terms for senators, 5 for the house
2. Dumb, idiotic. The US federal budget is not your home budget. In general we do need to cut spending and raise revenue, but a “balanced budget” in the household sense would destroy our global economy.
3. Dumb. Line veto gives too much power to one person, but whatever it’s fine as long as it can be overridden by 60%
4. Obviously? What current laws don’t apply to congressmen?
#5 needs to be a total and full freeze on any and all stock market transactions during the entire length of your term.

Just requiring a balanced budget every year would go a long way to fixing many problems in this country.
always infuriating to watch the left come up with excuse after excuse when faced with something as logical as this, or even voter ID's etc...........and then to watch the GOPe just fall in line.

That is crazy. A debt crisis will be what destroys the global economy, not a balanced budget.

Shocking stuff from both of you, definitely thought you would be very reasonable and give Florida kudos for their efforts, since you're both so reasonable

Will never even sniff the thought of being passed.

You treat DeSantis like the god you accuse us with about trump. DeSantis is a state governor and he needs to do the job he got elected to do and stop flirting with politics.

You're a fricking moron. You didn't watch the videos or have the slightest understanding of what is going on.
The Florida legislature is making efforts to get a Constitutional Convention going on these issues, with the Governor's support.
Do you understand how a Constitutional Convention works? DO you understand how they take place and who is involved?
Its the States.
States are the ones that do it.
You're clueless.

The Governor of Florida is a political job. The States have this power under Article Five.
But because you're so ate up with trolling you don't have any understanding of a damn thing.

Rep. DeSantis speaks out in support of line-item veto power - 3/29/18

I remember when some here clamored for a constitutional convention
Good times.
