He NEVER wanted this before!
He had that in the NFL and we saw how that worked out for him!
He ran back to where he had EVERY ADVANTAGE possible.
He wouldn't play if he can't play with a stacked deck!

That statement shows what a hypocrite Saban is. He never wanted an even playing field for college, why would he.

He wants there to be parity for everyone else. He is above that.

No shite. When I was at LSU the joke was they would pay them off with fake letters from home.

NCAA recently nailed us for all the money an AVERAGE player got, costing Les any hope of the college hall of fame.

Why are folks pretending Bama was the only ones breaking and bending rules pre NIL

Why apologize for them? If we knew how much Banana has done to win, there’d be no excuses given.

All Saban ever wanted was an unfair advantage.

He failed at the level playing field of the NFL.

Screw him and his sanctimonious posturing now.

He's not wrong in that the NIL needs to be regulated. There should be a cap that all teams cannot exceed. Otherwise the teams with the most collective money are going to get all the good players. NIL is ruining college football in its current state.

It's pretty incredible to think about how Saban was allowed to do whatever he wanted in terms of buying players for years and the NCAA turned a blind eye. bama players posting pictures of themselves with wads of cash and decked out cars and nobody cared. But then Ole Miss starts throwing some money around and they're promptly destroyed. There were two sets of rules. The Saban rules and then the rules for everyone else. What a farce.

So when everyone else could openly pay players he just couldn't even. Gonna get up on his moral high horse and talk all that shite about Jimbo and A&M going on a shopping spree. Saban's righteous indignation was comical.

But here we are now with the media making him out to be a Saint. He's the greatest coach of all time but he's as greasy as they come. I don't want to hear about what a great man he was. He was allowed to do whatever he wanted to do to win, so he did. Who could blame him?
