Maybe, maybe not. If you don’t, and park on a street in nola, you may be booted.

Speeding in a school zone, think of the children. Drive like your kids live here.

If you park on the streets sometimes and end up parking illegally or something, they can boot/tow your vehicle if you have unpaid tickets.
It doesn't count on your insurance or anything like that though.

My shithead teenage son got two in one day within a few hours of each other. He was going to and from an event and claims the sign wasn't clear or something.
I paid them at $75 each because I don't want to have to deal with any possible future problems with as much as he is in the city.

what are they trying to charge you for 9mph over? and depends how often you're in NOLA as to whether you should.... the unpaid/late fees will continue to go up, could be quite fun to deal with down the line

Even if it's like 4 MPH over in a school zone, it's $75. Then goes up monthly after that if not paid.

Was it the camera by Warren Easton? If so, that one does not comply with the ordinance - it does not have the mandatory flashing/alert lights.

Check to see if school was actually in session that day. The cameras are on during school hours but they don't turn off if schools are out for weather, etc.

The school zone on Canal used to have a sign that said school zone was in effect when the light on the sign was flashing. The light didn’t work and the court didn’t consider that to be an excuse.

Pay the ticket and sleep better at night.

how the hell would anybody even know who was driving the vehicle? Yall are so stupid when it comes to this shite

yall are just going to send a ticket to the owner of the car? What about if you had kids that drive? What if you let a friend borrow it? or a family member?

without stopping the person, doing an insurance/registration/license check, how could you possibly verify who the hell was driving the vehicle?

trash the damn thing

This is why, if you are for some ungodly reason I could never imagine, planning to go to NOLA, rent a car.
