Brian Kelly, you’ll see after the next several years of poor recruiting, and underachieving

Okay genius. Of the coaches that moved in late ‘21 early ‘22 who do you hire?

He was most responsible for "NFLSU" and lauded for having players NFL ready.
Miles is also on a very short list of LSU coaches who lead teams to multiple national finals.

House's 2023 defense is worse than anything Lou Tepper led.

Trent Johnson came into a much better situation then MM came into and would did absolutely nothing for years. Sad thing is, like Fargas. I actually felt like he could coach. I don't think he cared to, but he could.

Not even in the ballpark. Curley was terrible at coaching and a shitty dude.

If he had the offense to match the defense LSU would be the dynasty Alabama is now... should have and would have several natty's in his time here...we probably would have built a statue of ole Les by now

Mike Archer was worse. He took over a contender and drove us right into the ditch.

Archer was a solid defensive coordinator, but wasn't ready for the head job. He was only 34 years old when he became HC and as said earlier, was bad at recruiting. For some reason he seemed to favor out of state guys over the better in state talent.

98% of the hatred for Les Miles comes from his decisions regarding Jefferson and Lee.

There is definitely a large segment of this board that love them some melanin-challenged QBs.

Dinardo was a good coach. LSU was too cheap at the time.

Too high IMO. Guy stepped into a dream situation left by Saban and to his credit, maintained it for the most part. Could recruit for sure, but was a complete moron. Miles wasted SO much talent and backed into the ‘07 BCSNC w/2 loses. Don’t forget…this was the guy who tried to call a timeout following an interception in ‘05 against Tennessee, the guy who shite the bed with arguably the best team in LSU history in ‘06 up to that point, scoring 3 freaking points against Auburn. And don’t give me “that was Jimbo’s fault” crap. Fisher said LSU should’ve won that game by 3 TD’s. That game had Miles written all over it. And was the same guy who had NO IDEA the clock ran out against Ole Miss in ‘09. When J. Jefferson came to the sidelines as the clock ran out, Miles went to talk to him. You can see that idiot look up at the clock and say “oh wait the game’s over??” Dude had a good record, but was an IDIOT!!!!

His last coaching stop was at Muscle Shoals High School where he had four losing seasons in four years.

Mike Archer was close. Took a really good program and wrecked it with the quickness.

Arnsparger used up the superior talent recruited by Stovall. Archer took over amidst some racial heat in the day which handicapped his recriting. He was ill prepared due to his inexperience.
