Decline of rural America.

If you remember the story about the HS where 90% of the seniors weren’t able to graduate on time (Marlin) that’s just up the road from there.

Yet. All the towns along I35 are growing. Crazy what interstate frontage does for you.

Had no idea where
It was till today. My
Question is how can they be such a power with that low of enrollment.

This RB for Tidehaven is a legit D1 player. Is carrying Tidehaven.

Didn’t even know he was a Baylor commit until 5-min ago

Wonder if he didn’t camp, or just had a wild growth spirt. 247 didn’t even have him listed until June, 23

Former coaches had a lot of great athletes that helped build a culture in a town that otherwise has zero to little to offer in terms of a prosperous future.

Someone else mentioned Quan Cosby in here. One of the greatest athletes I’ve, and many others, have ever seen for example.

Impressed by the defenses for both teams. Well coached.

My wife and I just took a trip up to New England recently and went up and down I93 and I95.

They completely protect their interstates from the towns and towns from the interstate. I barely could see into most of the towns as we drove by. I wanted a glimpse at Salem, MA and there was everything left to the imagination.

There was some natural beauty to that, but also you had no idea if a sign for a gas station was a quarter mile from the interstate or 3 miles.

I came back a bit disgusted with Interstates in Texas TBH. But also appreciative that I can see if there’s a QT or Stripes on my side of the interstate.

I like how Texas has these games closer to Christmas than Louisiana does. Idk why but seems nice.

Lock in men, fightin’ Braymer Bulls kickoff at 3 today. Take some time out of your afternoon and tune in to watch a little Slot T action your grandpa always told ya about.

Gilmer Buckeye '89 here. Good luck to both.

Surprised Chapel Hill is having such a beat down. Anna looks so good.

I had a closing in Glimer scheduled for this morning and we had to push it back to the afternoon. They said all businesses were closing at noon to go to the state championship game. I thought what kind of po-dunk shite is this.

Had to move the closing to Monday. They were serious.

Gulp

Next game is Slot T vs Speed. I think Bellville has an edge on D.

I'll never forget sitting in bitter cold mist in Waco in 08 watching a WingT Liberty Hill whip us and Jeff Traylor. That offense wizardry is pretty cool in HS
