Found my package in the bushes the other day, y’all ain’t getting no damn snacks until this improves

One time they left a bubble wrap envelope on the front of the hood of my car. I leave when it's dark and didn't even notice it till I saw it slide up the hood when taking off. They also like to lean the same types of packages up against car tires, followed by marking it as "delivered in a safe location" or whatever it says

I have to say that the Amazon people aren’t nearly as nice (for the most part) as traditional ups/fed ex guys or my mailman.

My wife has been doing this for a few years. Sets up a small table with snacks and Gatorades every holiday season.

My mom's ring door bell got video of her Amazon driver delivering the package, stepping back to take a photo, then you can see the driver looking down at one of her plants next to the side walk. The driver squats down and pets the plant, then leaves.

Plant was lambs ear and I can't blame her at all, but funniest thing I've seen in a while.

I would be shocked if they did anything

There are lots of things to shite on Amazon about, but they generally are very customer focused and won’t put up with shite like this. Also very tight on public relations. This will not go over well.

How much do they pay you? How many times have you been paid?

$245 without video evidence.

Since putting up a camera, I contact my dirt guy, I give hime a few pics. He writes an estimate to fill in ruts and reseed, usually 3-400 bucks as they only do this when it rains. I had one claim for over 1500. And the current one is likely more.

I submit. They pay.

At this point, it's probably 10x since January

We've expanded the driveway from 14 to 16ft wide. I've added enough limestone that UPS can turn around without touching the brakes. And AMAZON continues to drive in the yard.

Two weekends ago they saw the freshly repaired dirt and drove into it again, seemingly on purpose. Buried the van to the frame because they had messed up the one section so much I had the guy dig it out, refill, repack, and reseed. Even though I specifically told the guy, put it in reverse, but DO NOT touch the gas while I pulled the van out, he decided to floor it the entire time. Including when he was back onto the limestone.

Filed another claim...

I wouldn't be so petty, but with the new construction, I put over 30k into dirtwork last year. Brought in almost 2800 yards of dirt. Changed the entire yard's drainage to direct water toward the natural drainage.

...and they keep doing it.

Speaking of Amazon, what’s going on with the BR distribution? Bunch of stuff I ordered for Christmas is delayed, same with stuff my wife ordered. All yesterday in Baton Rouge. Did the DC just not show up to work yesterday?

My Wife did this the last couple weeks of December. I was against it, but it was fun to see some of the driver’s reactions on camera. Almost all said thank you and Merry Xmas etc

This. We’ve lost a little humanity.
Maybe the chicks message wasn’t proper, but she’s not wrong.

I remember when I drove Amazon, there would occasionally be some houses who were nice enough to leave snacks outside. This was typically during the Christmas season. Of course gestures like this are appreciated, but this individual is obviously highly entitled.

You want to know the perk of doing something like Amazon. You can stop at the gas station and buy all the snacks you want. Not many jobs are you allowed to snack all day. Just because you have a job doesn't mean you're entitled to free stuff.

I've never met my deliveryman. He puts the package by my door and leaves.

We'll see.

I think they will be afraid of the backlash if they take any action, beyond a warning.

Your King/Queen driver wouldn't have a problem. It's that righteous neighbor that would complain.

I order shite.
Amazon pays you to drive and drop off their packages.
I don’t owe you anything.

Enjoy going back to fast food after Amazon fires ya

I told my Amazon driver thank you through my Alexa. That should suffice.

I'm going to get Alexa to order me some snacks for the drivers and set off a continuous loop that may or not blow the universe up.
