Had Oklahoma State been 12-0 in 2011, is it possible Bama still gets in over them?

Lol. Of course. At least they published who voted for what back then. Now its done behind closed doors. We had several people vote Okie State #4 or lower that year. If you went simply off of Computer Rankings then LSU would have played OSU.

Oklahoma State's problem in 2011 is that they were Oklahoma STATE.

Had they been Oklahoma or Texas, they would have played LSU.

Again, college football is not a real competition, it is a pageant where the rules change annually for the benefit of the Tier 1 programs/media darlings.

Remember, 2011 was the last year the slogan "Every Game Counts" was used. In fact, that slogan was immediately removed after a Tier 2 program (LSU) won the "Game of the Century" in Bama's backyard. That wasn't supposed to happen. When it did, CFB again changed the criteria.

Bama probably not as Little Nicky didn't have the world sucking his ballsack yet.

But, you never know with the Gumps...

They could have put Bama in over LSU because LSU had inferior QB play and was “outplayed” in their regular season game. Wouldn’t put it past them.

Some of us, including me, are never going to let 2011 go. I still think we should have been guaranteed a co-BCS champion title to play in that game. It was a miscarriage of justice.
