Dude, I’m old enough to remember when we were genuinely excited to make it to Shreveport for the Indy Bowl. True story.

That was also a win over the GOAT.

tRant's obsession with a coach being in the booth vs the sideline back then was funny.

I do remember us (seemingly) putting Harris in the shotgun more than at any other point in the season and thinking "maybe we'll be a bit more spread-ish next year".

Wisconsin game at Lambeau and looked like it was first time playing football?

That game broke me. I haven’t been as mad at a game since then.

Beat Patrick Mahomes in the 2015 Texas Bowl? I remember.

The defense Texas Tech had was atrocious.

I was at Auburn in 2014 when Brandon Harris started.

I had a similar reaction. I was so pumped for that season, thinking we'd have a legitimate offense with passing and rushing attack and might compete for a NC. Then that game happened and it was the same old Les Miles bullshite all around. That game was just awful.

Another one was beating the brakes off of Louisville and Lamar Jackson

Brandon Harris leading that almost comeback against Miss State made me think we finally had found a real QB.

In the right hands he could have made a decent college quarterback. Those hands don’t pick grass and eat it on the sideline though.

He was built perfect for a vertical spread system (honestly similar to what we run now). The problem is by the time he got into that system at UNC, his confidence and mechanics were shot to hell

Needs to be added to the recruiting staff asap

No thanks. He can keep wearing that burnt Orange just like Mettenberger can stay in Tuscaloosa.

What’s with these former QBs

He signed with the quarterback plague that was Leslie Edwin Miles. Game over at that point.

He also was a potential savior, the Rant golden boy at one point.

The GOAT Brandon Harris is currently poaching Louisiana kids to University of Texas, so he can stay far away.

I didn't remember Etling being that bad. Serviceable, I think. Not horrible like the others. I think Harris must have been the worst of the bunch, pouting on the sidelines

Etling deserves almost zero criticism. Dude was a breath of fresh, tough, intelligent air until BDJ arrived on scene.
