I'm glad LSU fans admit this was a dirty hit

After saying it was a clean hit last year... At least the hit on Daniels drew a flag.

Sad.

Two people I won't argue with....A woman who ain't got custody of her kids or an LSU fan talking about class.

Said it was targeting last year. Stop trying to be a victim.

You see how the Tennessee player’s helmet goes into Young’s shoulder???

And you see how Turner’s helmet goes directly into JD’s facemask?

Yea there’s the difference. You’re welcome

Not remotely the same. Not contacting the head and not driving the player to the ground

Completely different scenario. It’s not hard to decipher the difference I’m sure you can do it.

Beautiful form tackle. Looks like he even held up at the end and didn’t try to land on the QB with all his weight. That’s sportsmanship.

could be targeting. I have no idea of the call there. the difference is you are crying about a contact hit. The Tenn player I see in your gif did not wrap him up and pull him under his weight and pile drive him into the ground on his head all in an obvious late hit after the throw.

I don’t remember this play but from that gif it looks like the defender has his head to the side and not directly into the facemask like the hit last night. He also doesn’t launch himself like 15 did. Another angle could change my opinion. At the very least, it’s close to being a dirty play.

That game was as rigged as they come. Receivers got their helmet almost
Ripped off just as the
Ball arrived & nothing.
Tennessee fans were laughing about it as well as this one you

Its only a penalty if Bama does it. Saban broke that fanbase.

Both hits look to bang-bang for modern college football. Both should be a penalty, the Bama hit should be targeting. The Tenn player did not put the top of his helmet under Young's chin.

Did he pile drive him? You don’t have the entire video.

The fact that both hits were after the ball was released makes them dirty. I think they need to tweak the targeting rule to throw in forcefully driving the QB into the ground since most concussions come from this.
