Interesting Historical Notes:

Vanderbilt had 4 undefeated seasons our of their first 20 years of existence. They have not had another one in the 100 years since.

State has had really bad stretches of terrible teams: 1947-1973, 1983-1989, 2002-2006 are three in particular that were awful.

But since 2009, we have been a solid football program and though this year has been a struggle, (outside Alabama)we are no longer checked off as an automatic win before the season.
