I'm in a stupid 2 qb dynasty league, and my starters are Burrow and Goff. Burrow is on bye next week.

My options for my qb2 spot to fill in for Burrow are:
-Mac Jones (my current backup)
or
Streaming QB's
-T Bagent: Chicago's backup
-Hoyer: LV's backup
-Taysom Hill
-Other suggestions who MIGHT get to play this week

Who you got?

I would look at the fantasypros site and select whoever they have ranked the highest. Blame it on them if it goes bad.

Initial reaction is Hoyer if he starts.

Malik Willis might play. However, I assume he is rostered? He was awful last year, but I heard he has improved and those other options stink anyways. Maybe there is rushing upside.

Idk or maybe just stick with Jones?

I might lean Hoyer over Mac depending upon the matchups for this week, but it's not wide enough of a gap to drop Mac for a guy making a spot start. Just my opinion. How serious is Jimmy G's injury?

I also assume Minshew is long gone. I really think I'd just stick with Jones or risk the upside of Malik (if he starts).

Malik Willis is already rostered by someone, that's how bad this league is. Minshew has been gone for years.

Nobody has thoughts on Bagent for the Bears? Looks like the Chicago locals are very big on him.

I think I’d go ahoy wr by a decent amount out of those options. He should be able to at least manage a game.

Is it truly a 2 QB system or superflex? If superflex, you may want to look at other positions.

If 2 QB, I'd probably go Hoyer. He has weapons and the Bears are ranked 30th against QBs.

True 2 QB. I hate it.

I'm right there with ya. I have Burrow and Geno Smith both disappointing this year.

On top of that I had Conner and Achane both now on IR. A Jones dealing with hammy, Kittle disappeared. My black hole is deeper.

It sounds like maybe you want to try Bagent, so use your gut. Maybe just swing for that then. I think you'd be more upset if you didn't go Bagent and he did well over you try him and he sucked?

Playing the Bills and projected lower than Bagent by CBS--Yikes!

Then there's this. One CBS writer says of Bagent:

quote:

Bears' Tyson Bagent: Week 7 Waiver Priority List
October 17, 2023 10:49 AM ET | by Jamey Eisenberg
We don't know how much time Justin Fields (thumb) will miss, but he's not expected to play in Week 7 against the Raiders. That means Bagent should start for the Bears, and he's worth a look in Superflex and two-quarterback leagues. He did OK against the Vikings when Fields went out with 10-of-14 completions for no touchdowns, one interception and a rushing touchdown. And we'll see what happens with a full week to prepare for the Raiders, who allow 17.9 Fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks this season. In Superflex and two-quarterback leagues, Bagent is worth adding for up to 5 percent of your FAB.

But another CBS guy had this comment:
quote:

We're expecting Hoyer to start against the Bears, but both he and Aidan O'Connell are better two-QB streamers than Bears' likely starter Tyson Bagent. Hoyer has a great matchup and looked serviceable in Week 6 against the Patriots, completing 60% of his passes and averaging 10 yards per pass attempt. With Davante Adams and Jakobi Meyers against one of the worst pass defenses in the league, serviceable can get the job done.

Clowns all of them.

I'd follow the advice above and just go with the Fantasy Pros ranking or try their "Who should I start?" with each option.
