Wazzu and OSU probably going to MWC. If I were Big 12, I’d pass on them.

This just feels like a desperation move by the ACC. Just "do something". So dumb.

We will look back on all of this Conference Realignment one day as being as ridiculously stupid as our overreaction to COVID.

This is all about football and college football wasn’t broken. Why are they trying to fix it? Pure greed.

So, that’s gotta mean that they’re getting ready for FSU and Clemson to bounce, right? Maybe others?

The SEC will take them, it is just a matter of time.

As a former member of the ACC...you should know we move in desperation...we move in reaction....etc..

Have to get those Sears Cup juggernauts

Again, great schools the 3...but it does nothing to alleviate the situation we are in...football sucking..

And yes VT has not helped...and FSU minus last year has not helped...all these teams not living up to their capabilities

SMU’s donors paying for it.

Between the tuition rate and their donors SMU should have the best facilities and players in the country and I’m not really exaggerating. There’s a reason the football program is so infamous. The program and administration had a ‘come to Jesus’ after the penalty but all that money never went away.

Nothing else they can do really, acc missed its opportunity to solidify itself into the next phase of cfb.

They needed to merge with the pac12 before Oregon and co bailed

I remember the ACC putting its title game in Jacksonville because they thought it would be FSU and Miami every year. That was proven incorrect pretty quickly.

Not yet, but the end is in sight and coming fast.

I think this is correct (and unc).

This move only makes sense because the acc is anticipating losing members and are trying to keep their numbers up

Duke/Stanford would be a nice rivalry. Don’t see Cal/SMU adding anything at all

Stanford/Cal/SMU provide nothing, zero viewership, zero attendance. This is another conference that will go down once FSU, Clemson and UNC leave. So stupid

Wake Forest and Georgia Tech playing an ACCCG in front of about 26 people was a really embarrassing look for the conference.
