9-3 isn’t a crazy prediction for this team. In fact, it’s more likely than 10-2 imo.

No but it did come off like they thought 9-3 was almost the ceiling which I did think was crazy

Key to the season is the secondary.
Correct. Won’t really know what we’ve got before we play a game.

If JD learns to trust his receivers and throw them to ball, so that they have a chance to make a play, the tigers could do very well this year

These guys didn't necessarily bash LSU. Mainly just said that the schedule is very tough.

First game in Orlando against a Top 10 FSU team who should be better than last year as well. On the road vs Bama. A&M should be a better team this year, albeit it we play them at home. Throw in a tough Arkansas team that we scraped by last season, Ole Miss on the road, a Hugh Freeze Auburn team.

I believe we do at worst 9 wins with my expectation being 10 or more.

They did give the caveat that if we win the opener now we are in the realm of 10 or more for sure. So beat FSU and lets see where it takes us.

I thought Jenkins was under utilized last season.

Be willing to bet that many think all the WRs were under utilized last season......

Even Nabers who had 1000 yards was under utilized because he never really got to use his deep route ability.

I'd say that Boutte was over utilized though.

I realized that they don’t actually know anything beyond the stat sheet. For example, one of them talked about how we have issues at WR (:lol) because we lost Jenkins and Boutte. On paper it looks like we lost our 2nd and 3rd best WRs
We gained at receiver by Losing Boutte!!!!

Thank God the prima donna is gone!

9-3 or 8-4 is not out of the question. The fact remains that this team still has some question marks.

Defensive Backs are questionable

Has Jayden made the leap to elite is questionable

Do we have a definitive Running back willing to step up

Can we get consistency from the WRs outside of Nabors

Jenkins was like having that 100 year old quilt while at the hunting camp on a wet cold december hunting trip. It was all good once you got under the covers. He had more than a few high impact receptions the last two years. He will be missed NEXT.
