quote:Chase and Reed both won the Biletnikoff Award. Chase and Jets complemented each other so well, but I still think it's Chase.
Jefferson is higher than chase. I think Jefferson is the best wideout in lsu history and Josh Reed is second

Bert Jones should be ranked higher than Fournette.

give a me an OL of Whitworth, Faneca, Mawae, Andolsek and Lance Smith with Ralph Norwood and Ben Wilkerson as the back-ups.
DL of Leonard Marshall, Henry Thomas, Glenn Dorsey and Marcus Spears with Lavalais and Ramsey Dardar as back-ups.
I am ready for battle.
Know how I know you were in college in the early 2000's? ^^ That's how I know.

Brooks should be top 15 maybe even top 10. You could also make an argument for Eric Hill also

This is silly.
I am a Bert Jones fan, but he may not belong on a list of LSU ‘s 35 greatest players.
Cholly Mac just would not let him play.
For his career, he had 3,200 passing yds.
When allowed PT in the NFL, he shined.

Stovall and Robinson are 3 and 4 on that list

4 pages and not a single mention of Ben Wilkerson on the OP’s list arguably the greatest Center in LSU history and only Rimington award winner, he was a beast. All American, 2x SEC Champion, 2003 National Champion.
He went from being a 1st rd draft pick to going undrafted after blowing his knee out in game 8 Vandy of his Sr. season. Played 2 yrs at Cincinnati and is stil in the League - OL coach at NYJ
Had it not been for his freak injury, I believe Ben’s NFL career would have been similar to Mawae

I’d have Devon white and Justin Jefferson higher.
In reality, the players of the last 10 years are worlds better than any player from the previous 100 years. Just from a development, sports med, etc… stand point.

dont think i saw anyone ask, but what's the significance of 34?

I know you're getting a lot of downvotes, but coming up with a list like this is really a thankless task. Everyone has an opinion, and they're generally influenced by the players they actually saw play, and most people tend to include players from their youth, when the first fell in love with LSU football.
There is really no right or wrong list, and those arguing about the order or inclusion of certain players are taking it too seriously. There will never be a consensus, and that's okay.
You nailed this 100%
BTW Does anyone here remember Ronnie Estay?

I love Joe as the rest of you guys-
But #1??
He killed 2019 but Casanove -Cannon and other career were better.
Cannon played in 32 games at LSU, won 25
Burrow played in 28 games at LSU, won 25

Clyde Edwards-Helaire and maybe Cecil Collins should get consideration. But really, trying to put together a list of 34 is impossible.
