Lester Earl, glad to see some rational thought on here. The hysteria on here is at an all time high.

A) Never could warm up to the guy. The NC was more a result of the Saban wave than Miles' contribution, IMHO, and now it's low tide.

This is Gerry Dinardo, Part II. Dinardo beats defending NC Florida and he's king for a day. Miles wins the NC on Saban's momentum then fizzles - not even Top 25. Just being realistic here.

Anyone that has answered "A" does not remember how they felt after:

the Peach Bowl against Miami

Or the Sugar Bowl against Notre Dame.

Or last year after we beat Ohio State for a national title game.

Like those type of wins grow on trees or like any coach can have a great 3 year stretch like that.

Just to add to this, Georgia fans are complaining about Richt and how they'll never win the big one with his soft approach to head coaching.

Every fan base has something negative to say about their head coach especially when the chips are down.

Peach Bowl victoriy. Top 5 finish

Sugar Bowl victory. top 5 finish

OHIO state victory. NATIONAL TITLE

It's convenient now to bitch after we lose a few games and say "Ive seen this coming all along". Bull fricking shite

You can thank the internet age.

That and the majority of LSU fans are retarded and uneducated about the game of football.

IMO winning the national championship may have gone to Miles' head. If it has, and he decides that his huge paycheck directly correlates to the strength of all of his decisions, then we're fricked IMO.

The KEY turning point in this program will come at the end of this year. If he doesn't hire a COMPETENT DC, and instead continues to defend his cronies and their bullshite schemes, this entire program will fall apart.

I fall into B.

My FIRST concern was his decision on Mallveto THE DAY I heard about it.

I remember telling my dad that I thought it was odd that LSU, coming off a national championship, was not going out and hiring a PROVEN Defensive Coordinator.

I'm hoping that it turns out that Miles recognizes this error. If he doesn't, I truly believe this could be the beginning of the end for him.

Another year like this next year on defense absolutely WILL affect defensive recruiting. If that happens a couple years in a row, then you run into the problem that even if you get a good DC, he suddenly has a talent problem he needs to fix.

the 06 team especially, there was oodles of talent on that team, i look back and still can't believe we didn't win an NC
