Think about that. 2 or 3 out of ten vehicles on our roads have no insurance. Better make sure you have uninsured motorist insurance.
BTW, if you’re hit by an uninsured motorist, and make a claim against your insurance under the uninsured motorist policy, can they raise your rates?

Bundle is your friend. We moved our cars/umbrella policy from State Farm and our Homeowners from Liberty Mutual all over to a bundle with Allstate.
Only thing we don't have with them is the boat

Why isn’t our politicians doing something? Why is this okay? It’s like money laundering. If you have a claim, they will get their money back plus interest

Honestly, what’s the difference?
Whoever hits you, insured or not, is gonna tell the claims adjuster with XYZ Insurance their story, you’re gonna tell yours what actually happened, cocksuckers from each company will find both drivers were liable for damages in the neighborhood of 50%, everybody takes a bite out the shite sandwich except for the company raking in profits hand over fist, year after year, then raise your rate, drop you, or raise your rate and drop you at the time you’re to renew.
The insurance industry had a time and place. I think it’s pretty obvious the model is dated, has no value, and is inherently criminally predatory.

I hope you know uninsured motorists insurance will not pay for your car being fixed. You must have full coverage insurance for them to pay for your car being fixed.

I have USAA but even it's gone up in the last two years.
Premiums are up more than inflation as insurers deal with rising repair bills and higher car rental rates among other things. I mean when a Tesla is in a fender bender, or one of those new Ford EV Trucks, it's not like repairing a 2012 Escape bumper or even a 2014 Lexus G350 bumper.
Premiums are up over 25% across the board, on average, since Biden took office. I dunno know where anyone is planning-to run-to. It's all a sham ... it's just like the banks.
