Eh, I think that Dyson can get to the basket regularly, but he simply doesn't finish well there, and I think that's a function of a young body that needs muscle. If Dyson has been lifting this summer and getting stronger, then I'll expect a nice boost in his finishing ability.

obviously a limited sample, but 31% of his attempts came at the rim. He made 64.1% of them at the rim.

Compared to:
CJ: 62.6%
Ingram: 73.1%
Zion: 72.1%
TM3: 75.9%
Herb: 65.1%
JV: 72.7%

its pretty average if anything, the issue is anywhere else its rather inconsistent. once that became the case, he shyed away from trying

Don’t have to get rid ov JV to upgrade the position. CJ makes more than double what JV makes. And CJ is paid til 2025/26. Do not like!

I don’t know why CJ agreed to the CBA terms. It’s going to effect him being on the pelicans sadly.

All the rules aren’t gonna be implemented all at once. It’s gonna be a slow rollout

Rookies in general hit that wall. They've never played that much basketball at that level.

Why would the Wizards do that? They have enough guards and are rumored to be buying out Gallinari anyway

I dont even think he hit a wall. He was playing great then sprained the shite out of his ankle. His play was night and day after the injury. I think people are forgetting how great he was playing. Everyone should go watch his highlights from the raptors game when he almost had a triple double

The Wizards are trying to get rid of Monte Morris and Delon Wright. ANd yes they were going to buy out Gallo.
They might as well take a flyer on Kira. They are going to be terrible this year. We absolutely should do something like that if Gallo has anything left in the tank. It's not like he's coming here to start. If you get literally anything out of him as a backup, then that's a good thing b/c Kira isnt' going to play this year on this team.

Goodness gracious! I didn’t know people were so down on Dyson. He’s was rookie whose scoring and shooting needed development. His defense was his calling calls and he was great at that year 1. Give him time to let his offense develop in year 2.

Be patient guys. He’s going to be pretty good.

Agreed. He obviously has a high BBIQ and good instincts. NBA body is growing, which is a good thing. Humble and great attitude.

Seems like his putting in the work as well. Dyson will be huge for us in the coming years.

Delon Wright is a nice player. Somebody is going to get a steal with a solid rotational guard.

I've been calling for Eubanks since early last year. He'd be a really good fit here for cheap. His shooting stroke even looks pretty good, too.

McNamara of all people had a pretty reasonable piece on twitter this morning about making very small moves now, moves around the margins, and then revisiting in February for a much bigger move when its easier to find teams that want to deal.

I pretty much agree.

Yeah i agree. Nothing we do right now matters if our stars can't stay healthy. Just make moves around the edges and evaluate at the deadline

Just please find that backup big so our whole season doesn’t go down the tube with one injury. I would be plenty satisfied if we just add a backup 4 or 5.

By trade deadline, someone like a Myles Turner could certainly be available (if that’s what we want), then with only 1.5 years left and the Pacers possibly in the tank. Who knows.

who is his shooting instructor?

offense doesn't just develop. I've seen bean pole defenders who never could shoot. spent summers deworming orphans in Rwanda .

Look at his shot in the Gleague and then look at his shot on the pels. His shot is much faster, and smoother. Form looks good. Now its about repetition
