We are heading to Boston this Thursday. The weather looks to be cool with rain chances several of the days. Can anyone recommend a comfortable shoe/boot to wear on my travels? Boston is a walking city so we will be putting in several miles a day. TIA

If you're needing something by tomorrow, head up to Walmart and pick the best you can find.

Feel like sneakers.

But, you waited until three days before your trip, so... Enjoy the Keds from Walmart. Just take the T, you'll never have to walk more than a quarter mile in one go.

A shoe you have broken in instead of one you get 2 days before you leave. Buying a new shoe for heavy walking without time to break them in is a recipe for disaster.

Not gonna lie; I’m disappointed in the efforts of the O-T thus far.

There are shoe stores locally to shop for a pair.

Go buy some Merrel’s. Just try a few pairs on and pick what feels the best. I purchased some for a trip to the Middle East and they have worked out incredibly well.

They are the most comfortable footwear I’ve ever had.

What’s in your closet that you currently wear? That’s all you need. You’re not summiting Everest.
