I thought as much. I wasn't being serious either.

Yeah, they were a bunch of nuts.

This is the correct answer. A huge number will turn to God as their saving grace as otherworldly beings are just too much for the psyche.(ironic isn't it) A huge number on the other end will just go batshit crazy like it's end of times. In the end both sides will die per usual and it will all have been much ado about nothing. Whatever you believe or don't, in reality nothing really begins until you die. Everything living is theory without evidence of what happens after. Neither aliens or God are changing that.

I doubt it. Didn't the Catholics already make up some shite to explain how aliens fit in to God's plan?

People who shite on Catholics the most, understand Catholicism the least.

The church and science are not at odds. That’s pure ignorance and propaganda.

There are lots of questions that can’t be answered. Most Catholics who understand the faith know this. The ones who are telling you they have it all figured out are the ones mutilating children and telling you the planet is going to explode in 2030

I was educated by Priests, Nuns, and Brothers since birth, and not one of them was a science denier. Evolution was just another example of the grand scale of God’s plan, not something to be dismissed because it conflicted with Genesis.

I had this approach, too. I grew up in a Catholic community, but I was never taught that science was wrong or counter to God. We always were taught that there were many things we didn’t understand, and that many stories in the bible shouldn’t be taken as literally true. Some stories were used to teach a principle, not be necessarily fact. I like what Jordan Peterson once said. If you take the bible to 100% true or 100% false, then you’re missing a lot. I’m not some biblical expert. I try to live a good life while keeping an open mind. If there are things I don’t understand, then I either try learn, or just accept the fact that there are things I’ll never know.

Unless these aliens are trannies, people will just go on about their lives and not fully appreciate what a big deal it is.

So things basically stay the same?

I don't remember any bible passages that mention alien life.

Ezekiel 1:4-28

Pretty damn close to how someone who has no idea what UFO would be would describe a UFO.

I’m not religious so no matter there. However I don’t believe it’s aliens. It’s our tech.
Gov has been playing alien card to distract from fact that we have made massive strides in our understanding of physics. Or maybe it’s space laser holograms.

Don't trust anyone coming forward with military/cia approved documents. Could/couldn't be real but these whistleblowers aren't changing my mind.

The tic tac, gimbal etc footage has been adequately explained imo, untill actually technology is studied by multiple sources and publicly shown I'll just continue to believe we're probably not alone but probably haven't been visited.

got questions.org/strong-delusion

For those who continually deny God’s truth this will be a welcomed delusion; that will offer a temporary and false confidence that will likely carry them to their destruction.

2 Thessalonians 2:9–12 (NASB95): that is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders,
10 and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved.
11 For this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false,
12 in order that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth, but took pleasure in wickedness.

would it shake or weaken your faith in your religion

It would strengthen it. Any person with common sense knows the universe is far too big for humans to be the only intelligent life. It’s very humbling and awe-inspiring to think that God chose the human race to make His connection.
He also could have done the same with other intelligent life in their own language and understanding. There could even be an alien-type Jesus for their race. We don’t know.

We were built in Gods image. As Jesus said we have incredible power and with the faith of a pea could command the mountains to jump into the sea. (Paraphrasing) True, we are unique in the universe in this regard and actually all mini gods, (tower of babel story in Bible) but we basically have regulators on us and have always been closely watched. We would obviously all kill each off if we gods, maybe have already done that.

Angels, Arch angels and fallen angels and demons all exist and can come to earth, and exist under God per Bible. Nordics, Palidian’s, (sp) reptilians, mantis creatures etc are pretty much dead on here.

If you read the Jewish Bible (book of Enoch) etc it’s even more explicit.

This should really not challenge anyone’s faith. God exist and the others do too.

One recent whistle blower said they come here because we are like Disneyland to them. One of the most beautiful planets in the universe with incredible diversity of life and humans which are weird and interesting as shite to every creature. Hence the probed and them trying to steal our DNA etc, as we again are copies of the highest being in the universe.

Play Zebra song here.

We really need to start taking better care of our planet maybe they are coming to help us, spank us, with that who knows. But it looks like they are coming.

Btw they are big LSU fans. (Well except for the reptilians who are Gator fans but nobody really likes them anyway)

Why would an omniscient, omnipowerful, and omnipresent God need to make a test anything?

What’s more likely:
A) Alien life forms (depicted with the same basic structures as human life….what are the odds?) was intelligent enough to create tech to travel here then crash
Or
B) Governments have developed technologies they want to keep under wraps
