CNN is Mockingbird media and will be kept going by CIA via the American people no matter what "news" they report.

news networks only exist because of cable bundles

I read a few stories around the time they fired Zucker that when the current cable contracts expire, Warner will likely shut CNN down. As an economic enterprise, it is essentially worthless and those old contracts are the only thing keeping it going.

CNN made some key terminations, but they need to do more. The Trump years and their constant TDS really destroyed their credibility.

Firing Lemon, Stelter, and Cuomo was a good start, but they need to do more if they hope to regain audience. Acosta, Cooper, Amanpour, and Camerota all need to go, and that's just off the top of my head.

Amanpour, who I used to like, has become particularly smug and deranged. Cooper blasted CNN after the Trump town hall when he for decades was pretty good.

Megyn Kelly discussed it on her podcast yesterday that CNN would need to make serious, serious changes and even then it may not be enough as they've done so much damage to their reputation.

Funny thing is the media was/is supposed to be there to protect us from big bad government and to keep government in check!! Yet they are doing the opposite

The craziest thing is some of the most intelligent and successful people I know flip to CNN in the men’s locker room every day. It’s awful. How can people so smart be so blind?

Your not alone, I struggle to understand this same "phenomenon". How can someone see the world so differently than myself. I believe age is a factor. As I've aged, I'm 54, my views have become more conservative and my interest in politics has risen so I pay attention more today than when I was 20 or 30.
Something else, the education system has been so filled with liberal idea's the things and manner which young people are educated impacts the world view.
