news networks only exist because of cable bundles

Ted Turner is a Leftist, and he let Lou Dobbs, a Conservative, build a very well respected news network, even with a slight to light-heavy Left bias, but still was somewhat fair..at least before the late 1990s..

They have taken his baby and turned it into a CIA 4AM talking points lie machine, a world cabal/totalitarian propaganda microphone, to keep the useful idiots in line.

I know it must make Ted sad what they have done to his creation.

If they did this, they would lose their government subsidies (via Pfizer).

CNN just needs to go back to a 24/7 international type news network with low overhead and lots of in the ground reporting from war zones, African Civil wars, etc.

They could also need a Larry King type to headline their nights, where it's basically just a podcast interview show at 7 pm.

They also need to clear out the entire newsroom... But none of this will ever happen.

The ceo did not come close to trying this. They were/are still 100% left leaning. Look how they treated trump with his town hall

This is what the news should concentrate on - period.

Let the "good news" just be celebration of widely held historical national interest items in passing - with in-depth coverage of major world changing events like Columbus Day, Plymouth Rock, July 4th, D-Day, Pearl Harbor, Moon Landing, plus major historicallly prevalent Religious Holiday (no recent inventions) et at - Major stuff that was world shaping and national significance.

NO PROMOTING THE LATEST FAD!!! Let "cultural" revolutions take place like they are SUPPOSED to - by general acceptance of the population as a whole without coercion of any kind. IF it is a 'good' change, it will take place in its proper historical era by common acceptance and only noticed that a 'change' occurred by future generations looking BACK and saying - Wow - look how the world 'changed"

Today - we are all hyped up on MAKE It CHANGE NOW - to suit the most LOUDMOUTHED and ANTI-SOCIAL amongst up = FORCING a 'culture change' = just because we CAN.

ANY media outlet with a liscense to command an airwave frequency or an internet connection must be UNCENSORED - and regulated to check for FACTUAL accuracy in what they allow to be transmitted.

Any CAMPAIGN oriented material should be prefaced by "these views are only the OPINIONs of the articles the airtime they consume has been PAID FOR as COMMERCIAL broadcasts, but no ANTI-FACTUAL matter is permitted."

For instance - you are PROHIBITED from broadcasting the notion that "trump said Nazi's were perfectly fine people" as the most INSIDIOUS lie ever told that is STILL being touted by over and over and over.

This is my prime example - there are worse - and there are some by BOTH SIDEs - but only ONE SIDE is completely consumed by LYING - EVERY campaign issue they tout is either a LIE - or it is a completely illogical and purposeful mischaracterization of the truth.

Welcome to reality CNN - would LOVE to see your brand return to its founding principles.

How about just report the news. Dump their shitty biased opinion people, abandon their political agenda.
