The butcher I get my pork sausage from has MSG in it. he makes it in house. Best sausage ever!

I once posted on here that I didn’t like certain crawfish boil seasonings because they used MSG. After a few responses, I learned something that day and no longer have any qualms about MSG.

MSG is instant umami. You can get a similar result by topping your dish right after it is prepared with a little bit of kosher salt and fresh black pepper.
