why? He chose that.

Well, I don't necessarily think him being a drug addict means he deserved to die. I also wonder if he had any idea how bad of an area he was in. He might have just figured he was still pretty close to downtown so it shouldn't be too bad.

At least one of those pictures is from the story at Siegen lane a few days ago, are they trying to say they found that searching for him?

I guess it says “and community partners” so nvm.

Pretty sure they stole those photos from the Keep Tiger Town Beautiful crew. There was a story this weekend about them finding a stash of drugs under the Siegen overpass.

People who give the drug addicts money need to see these photos so they can see what the beggars are buying with their dollars.

They said they called BRPD about the drugs and nobody showed up.

Another interesting point I haven't considered, if this guy went looking for drugs and found them, why would he stay in some crack house and use them vs just go back to his hotel? That's not really a crowd people who look like that guy would typically want to hang out with

What a god awful idea to wrap someone up in a rug. Wherever it came from will have an abundance of DNA from whoever owned it. Rookie move.

I'll give a dude $10 for Vodka at times. Might be the best thing to happen to him in a while.

It could be and like someone else mentioned that he OD'd in someone's house so they dumped him. It still leaves open the possibility of murder to me as well though.

It’s all speculation at this point as to the cause of Millard’s death. The body was badly decomposed when it was found. Autopsy results performed by the EBRP Coroners office would quickly determine if Millard was a victim of foul play. A full autopsy could take some time.

I’m leaning towards Millard had OD’ed off of bad dope at a crackhouse and was moved and dumped at this Scenic Hwy location. Hopefully BRPD can get a plate scan of the vehicle used to dispose the body on one of the city’s many plate scanners located throughout the city in locations that are not made public as to the locations of the plate scanners.

This story is getting more attention than it ever should have, likely because the deceased's wife controlled the narrative from Georgia.

I completely disagree. I want stories like this to get as much publicity as they possibly can. If it puts a brown mark on this city admin or city police, it's worth the attention.

I must have missed, but why did you zone in on that area to look for body? Was it in the news that the police had ramped up searching over there?

Thanks for the advice on my word quantity and choice.
I’m not deriving anything meaningful, profound, true, or instructive from your posts.
Easy isolated question:
Care to explain what Calvinism has to do with altar calls? I’m sure there are some self-proclaimed Calvinists who have participated in such things, but altar calls:Calvinism::oil:water.

I don’t think that either but it’s just a consequence of the lifestyle, one that a user usually knows is possible, but doesn’t care about and gives in to addiction’s demands

two things about this - if you can’t tell how bad it is by the way it looks, then you need to get out more (not you ‘you’ the general you) - and if he has had substance abuse problems in the past, then he knew it was the kind of place where he wanted to be

I feel sorry for his kids

I mean, if I'm this guy and I wanted to get high, I'd sure rather do that in the Marriott alone than with some NBR crackheads and homeless people

Maybe I’m ignorant on this subject, but why does a dead body in a crackhouse necessitate a move? Is it strictly because druggies don’t want to deal with the smell?

There’s no need to cover up anything if you didn’t kill the guy. I can’t imagine it’s the first time a dead body has been in a crack house. I just figured druggies would vacate the area for a bit and find a new place to get high.
