Pump city Leg day (9) was nice today. Bulgarian to reverse lunge supersets had us ready to tap out. Subbed in hamstring curl/leg extensions to failure for the db RDL/goblet squat superset. Good times.

Took the day off and did cardio only.

KB mile using 15 lb each hand. Then 1 mile inclined w/o KB.

30 min recumbent bike.

Similar to yesterday (minus the bike since the one at the hotel was busted).

KB mile using a 15 lb in each hand followed by an inclined mile.

W1D4 of DB done. Schedule was thrown off this week so gonna have to do 3 days in a row. Just recovered from initial soreness but fully expecting this to bring it right back. Overall liking this though

W3D1 DB - 82 minutes

Had me pretty much trying to catch my breath for the first 3/4 of the workout.

Once again those ohp/goblet squat combo lit me up.

W2D1 DB done

Agreed on the goblet squats. That plus wall sits are brutal. Legs heavy after this one

I hate rest day. It throws my whole day off. No workout makes me drag arse in the morning and I sleep too late to make breakfast or coffee. I hate Wednesdays

W7D2 of Grasshopper done.

Off schedule since I was too tired to get it done yesterday morning. Kids' schedules are starting to catch up to me.

First year back in the gym in a while. Been going for 4 months. Working with an online trainer I found on tiktok which has been very beneficial to establishing a foundation and getting eating in check.

Posting in this thread b/c I'm trying to predict what life will be like when I have to develop my own workout plans ( 3 months from now) or what reference I'll use. Stumbled upon this thread. Did some googling and I see PPSA has a bunch of books - which I guess are different plans (hence the thread title I'm guessing).

So do you guys just pick which plan best suits your goals/capabilities and discuss it in here?

Just decide what you want to focus on (squat, bench, overall strength, etc), then ask which plan might be best. Lots of people here can give reviews on them.

We usually run the same program every month and discuss it here. But last month we kicked our own asses with Strongville and so we are all doing different ones this month.

I am doing 21 to party this month. It is a lot less volume than Strongville. It's good and bad, some days I add more at the end because I know I have some more in the tank.

I'm the same way. I do my same routine but when I get to the gym I tinker around with a few machines and do some cardio stuff. Now I've added in the kb mile.

Although today I'm doing the Super Bowl Hangover from his Instagram. I'll be out of town next week so I'm gonna go ahead and hit it hard this week.
