Over the past 2 years only 12/32 teams that have played a week 0 game have won the following week. A week 0 game has almost no impact on the following week of play.

It’s LSU’s scheduling people that keep falling for the same thing every year.

"Zero" effect? That's not exactly true. We are not guaranteed that TCU loses a game, neither are we guaranteed to pass the Michigan/Ohio State loser. People keep forgetting that we aren't just #5, and therefore an automatic to take the place of the next loser. We are a 2 loss team looking up at 4 undefeated teams. We can't be sure of how much help we need. To me, TCU's weak schedule makes them the team to pass if they lose the Big 12 championship, but we don't know if they'll actually lose.
But if (and it doesn't matter now that it's in the past; but for the sake of discussion) LSU had beaten FSU we would be entirely in control of our own destiny, without any questions.

It is now irrelevant and almost helps in a way it shows the extraordinary improvement since that game. If we would’ve won that game the wins since have been better in the eyes of fans and analysts. The climb has been a dominant ascension. That loss has changed the perception of the 22 LSU Tigers.

Florida State owes LSU nothing. You play the team in front of you if you can’t beat them it’s your own fault. LSU was woefully bad that night playing a bunch of players that arnt even playing right now and turning the ball over multiple times. They also had no clue how to use Jayden till the game was almost over. That’s on coaching not because FSU beat up on some sap.

Going into the season everyone had LSU going to the CFP. Relax. Enjoy the season. Kelly has this team playing well and ahead of where anyone thought they would be. I don’t care if LSU does not make the CFP. I’m happy as frick about the season. Playing in a better bowl game than the Texas Bowl with a depleted roster. The next few years will be fun. Enjoy it.

Who gives a shite, win out and you are in. Stop bitching about what could be and win the games ahead of you.
That is why this whole thing is stupid, it should be conference champs only with a 4 team playoff. Expand to 12 and we can talk about non-champs (although champs should get 1-4 seeds).

That moment you realize your team may not make the playoff and you keep blaming it on not getting to play one of the worst teams in 1AA when you could just scrimmage yourself and get a whole lot more benefit, refusing to admit you got your arse beat by FSU
