a CFP. Without a prior warmup game, LSU beats them.

Change my mind

FSU game has had zero effect on LSU as of right now. Were #5.

If we won that game and got blown out in the UT game and there were 4 undefeated P5 teams, we'd still be #5...

This is so whiny and cringe.

You guys are too soft. There was nothing sleazy about it. It's how scheduling goes.

Those rankings are fluid. If USC finishes the season beating 3 ranked teams in a row and only having 1 loss, they very easily could jump a 2 loss LSU even if they beat Georgia.

PLUS. If LSU only had 1 loss right now, there would be realistic scenarios where they possibly get in even with a loss to Georgia.

Good Lord. LSU controls their own destiny. Worst possible case scenario in your scenario here then its:

1. OSU/MICH winner
2. TCU
3. USC
4. LSU

eta: point being there they are not leaving SEC champ LSU out no matter what *unless we lost to 4&8

Wrong. That’s not just “how scheduling goes”. Most teams don’t play “week zero” games. And if that week zero game was scheduled after 2 power 5 programs agree to a week 1 matchup, it is sleazy

Its LSU administration that allowed that to happen.

Yes they are also to blame. Those big week 1 matchups should have it stated in the contract that neither team can schedule a week zero game

We're ranked #5. Exactly where we'd be if we'd beaten the noles.

Helps if Kansas St, Oregon and Ohio St wins the other conferences (dont think ACC champ matters).

that Duquesne game was effectively a scrimmage against a high school team. We were better off scrimmaging against ourselves.

The FSU opener was a learning experience...for the players and judging by the end of the Bama game, especially for CBK.

It's fun to go back and look at how opposing fans (and some of our own) were LOUDLY crushing him after that game. Those folks sure are a lot harder to hear now.

Wouldn’t matter. We’d still be number 5 and we’d still have to beat Georgia. Nothing changes

Why are you convinced that if we beat FSU, we also only lose 1 other game to Tennessee.

Honestly the way that game played out it was a good thing for LSU. It was a wake up call. Reality check.

No, an ill prepared LSU team and the ability to do a small thing like block a PAT could cost them.

And no, I'm not here to change your mind. You want you mind changed, man up and do it yourself.
