The USC defense is poor and they would not be able to create the early season turnovers

They forced 4 turnovers against UCLA and that was last weekend.

USC has forced a turnover in all but one of its 11 games and has six games with multiple forced turnovers.

They are +21 in the turnover margin...(24 forced turnovers) #1 in the nation...but yeah, USC is 94th in yards allowed per game and 66th in points allowed per game.

It's a total coin flip. I think both teams have maxed out their potential for 2022. USC is a year away from competing for a national championship IMO. LSU will likely lose to Georgia.

Losing to USC 3 times in the stretch given the coaches isn’t a good thing.

He lost to Kiffin, Helton, and Sarkisian. I'd say only Helton isn't considered a top-level coach and even Helton didn't do that poorly at USC. Each of those losses was in very good USC seasons to teams with good-quality players.

In the ten years prior to Kelly taking over the job at ND they were 2-8 vs the Trojans. In Kelly's 10 years they were 7-3.

They carry some of the mojo from the early 2000’s when they were better than LSU and got robbed by the BCS.

USC lock -11.5

Perkins also transfers to USC post-game.

I'd say DTR forced it more than SC did. SC did what they should've when presented with the opportunity but Dorian was too worried about shite talking than being centered and doing his job.

And needed every single one of them to furiously hold off a team that lost to Arizona the week before.

Name all of USC’s big wins this year, and then name all of Lincoln Riley’s career big wins. I eagerly await your replay.

That’s who they remind me of but don’t see their doors getting blown like OU has done in the playoffs.
LSU would be favored by ~4.

LSU. USC fans are going to learn the same lessons that OU fans learned. If you want to win it all, you have to play defense which Lincoln Riley doesn’t have the first idea how to do.

Committee brought this up.

They are basically #6 because they believe their defense is terrible.

Maybe they forgot about LSU’s defense vs Tennessee. A 37 point loss doesn’t scream CFP quality to anyone except those with an SEC bias.

You know Riley’s playbook… beat average teams by scoring 65, but giving up 64. Lose to teams that can punch you in the mouth on defense.

LSU boat races USC.

Tigers. USC had no discernible defense.
