We’re riding with Daniels. He will not be benched, and he shouldn’t be. He has proven that he gives us the best chance to win. It’s as simple as that.

We weren’t ready for what Arkansas did schematically and Daniels was hesitant to push the ball. It was a tough situation, we’ll adjust and get it fixed.

Did we run any of those rpo roll outs where daniels can either keep or dump to the tight end?
Look up RPO!!!
You are not describing an RPO and naming the play incorrectly will not change the terminology of the entire fricking football world!
FFS stop it!

Do you ask that question about Tom Brady or other starting QBs when they are having a bad game? Should every starting QB get benched every time it isn’t going well?
That’s a ridiculous thought honestly.

The game plan was absolute arse with no adjustments made at any point during the game.

Very unlike Denbrock to just keep trying to pound that square peg in the round hole. He’s been very good about making adjustments. Don’t know what was wrong with him Saturday.

If thats not a run pass option, then what is it?

What is it called or what would you like to call it coach?

But, what does it say about The readiness of Nussmier and Howard that we were unwilling to try either of them for a single series?

It says Daniels is the guy, has been the guy all year, and he led the team to a legendary win against Bama, SEC West title, and still in the playoff hunt.

He had a bad game. So did the offensive line. The receivers were not great either.

If JD hasn’t proven to you by now that he is a good QB that can win us games (given what he did to Bama) then YOU have the issues to deal with, not JD.

Bc he is our qb. Last thing we needed was to throw in someone who has t played much this year and have them throw the ball vs a defense who was doing well. Pick six would have been a disaster

To me, it appeared that JD was a step slower this week, just enough to make the difference between big runs vs sacks. Maybe he was sick as some suspect. If so, then Denbrock may not have had many other options to use.

The run-pass option (RPO) is a type of designed option play in gridiron football in which the offensive team has the ability to either rush or pass the ball depending on the alignment and actions of defensive team.

What am I missing? Daniels rolls out and either dumps it off or runs with it…
Sounds like he has the option to run or pass but hell you tell me..

The coverage wouldn’t have gotten worse for the 2nd string Qb.
