Why didn’t we try a sub for J Daniels?

I like Daniels, and think he gets waaay too much criticism here.
But Odom had a great scheme for him and Denbrock had no solutions for the zone.
Daniels was 8 of 15 for 86 yds, a fumble and an int. He took repeated sacks.
Not all of that was JD’s fault.
But, what does it say about The readiness of Nussmier and Howard that we were unwilling to try either of them for a single series?
Those two guys should have had a much better skill set to throw into the defense Arky employed.
Are Nuss and Howard that far behind schedule?

Because we were still winning the game and he is the offensive leader. You have to let him work it out or learn from it.

If we were down by a couple of scores then by all means try something different.

Throwing the 2nd string in was not the answer.. we did a piss poor job of countering their pressure.

Did we run any of those rpo roll outs where daniels can either keep or dump to the tight end? Where was Mason? Game plan didnt help one bit.

You were the guy that said “Go with Brennan!” during the 2018 Florida game, aren’t you?

Sometimes sticking with your guy even when he’s having a bad day builds confidence and makes him even better on his good days.

I trust Coach Kelly to know the difference.

because JD has and will keep us in games we have no business in. simple as that. Nuss and Howard can stay on the bench

You’re acting like we were down 30. You don’t bench your starting QB. This is a dumb post respectfully

Because we won, which is all that matters. Who knows what happens if we put someone with very little experience in the game.

Daniels for the most part has been exceptional in the fourth quarter. You’d be crazy to take him out.

Because Jayden Daniels is the starting QB. The other two guys are the backup and third string. Name any other football team in this world that would bench their starting QB while winning a football game. I will wait.

Because the problem was the gameplan. Any other questions?

JD is the guy. Get on the boat. BK is ok at this and he's on the boat.

You don’t just sub out your qb who just beat bama because of defensive scheme. That’s literally the stupidest shite you can do and what makes players not want to ply for you anymore. If it’s something you have planned then whatever but not just because you’re struggling (with the lead) on the road.

So fricking dumb. Yeah let's duck with his confidence.

You ride the horse that got you here. You gotta trust Jayden and more importantly- Kelly.

No one will play meaningful snaps at QB this year except JD
